Eacrets fete anniversary

June 13, 2016, marks the 50th anniversary for Dave and Barbara Eacret of Sagle.

Dave and Barbara met in Denver, Colo., through mutual friends. Barbara was a flight attendant and originally from Omaha, Neb. Dave had recently returned from Korea where he had served in the U.S. Army and was attending grad school. He was originally from Ronan, Mont.

After marriage, Dave went on to receive his doctoral degree in economics and started his career in the banking world. He later started his own company Realestate Economics. Barbara enjoyed a long career with United Airlines where she flew internationally.

Dave and Barbara have two children and five grandchildren. Monique, their oldest, lives outside the San Diego area. She has three children, Kyra, Caden and Easton. Brent and his wife Nicole live in Sandpoint and they have two boys, Ty and Boden. Dave and Barbara enjoy being loving and very involved grandparents and are always around to support their children and grandchildren.

Dave and Barbara are celebrating this monumental anniversary by getting away to Whitefish, Mont., for the weekend. Later in the summer when all the family will be together, we will enjoy a celebratory dinner at their home in Bottle Bay.
