Barbecue to aid senior center

SANDPOINT — Sandpoint Area Seniors, Inc., is celebrating summer with a barbecue fundraiser on Father’s Day weekend hosted by the Sandpoint Injector’s Car Club.

The barbecue fundraiser will be held in the Sandpoint Senior Center parking lot, 820 Main St., on Saturday, June 18, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The cost is $5 per plate, which includes a hamburger or hot dog and lots of side dishes and tea/lemonade and dessert. Sodas will be available for $1/can.

At 1 p.m., raffle drawings for a seven-night stay at Pend Oreille Shores and a one-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express will be held. Tickets are available at the cenior center or downtown at Eve’s Leaves, 326 N. First Ave., and I Saw Something Shiny, 220 First Ave.
