SANDPOINT — As we round the corner into mid-June, the calendar gains momentum in terms of quantity and quality — not to mention diversity!

This week’s live music offerings take us inside and outside, with options at every local venue and locations such as Farmin Park and Park Place. Classical music lovers will certainly enjoy the Pend Oreille Chorale & Orchestra performances over he weekend and there’s live theater next door from the Pend Oreille Players in Newport.

Come celebrate the fun tradition of social dancing in Sandpoint. This ‘70s themed dance starts with a Hustle lesson will be taught by a local professional instructor from 7- 8 pm, followed by general dancing, refreshments, door prizes, mixers, and a drawing for a month of free dance classes. Singles and couples are welcome.
