Jim Ellis, 87

Jim Ellis, 87, a former Navy enlistee and veteran of the Korean War, departed this world June 2, 2016.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary Ellis; and his loving stepchildren, including Carol Buckley of Colorado, Ron Clark of Colorado, and Cathy Ray of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; and last, but not least his grandchildren, grandson Chris Ray, grandson James Buckley, and granddaughters Erin Buckley and Jessica Croft; also, a sister, Betty of California; and a son, Scott Ellis.

Jim was a good and enthusiastic fisherman and a master gardener, and a loving husband, father and grandfather.

May he rest in peace, our love is with him. Our beloved dog, Mandy was hit and killed by a car the same day that Jim passed away, so we grieve for all our family.
