A goalie extends to try and stop a shot on Monday at camp, as area soccer youth enjoyed a scrimmage during the first day of action. More than 200 area youth are taking part in the week-long skills camp, which features coaching from current pros and former college players alike. Starter by former Striker and Bulldog player Brian Farber, a teammate of McNeley’s at both Oregon State and for the Sockers, the camp continues to grow in popularity in the soccer hotbed of Sandpoint. —Photo by ERIC PLUMMER
