June 14
A wallet was reported found in the 100 block of First Avenue at 10:54 a.m.
Officers contacted a male and female yelling at each other at the fairgrounds at 2:02 p.m. and advised they were separating for the night.
A male loitering at a business in the 1000 block of Highway 2 at 4:22 p.m. was given a courtesy transport to the men’s shelter.
After a dog was reported hit by a vehicle on Hickory Street, an officer advised at 4:52 p.m. that it appeared to have minor injuries.
A case was placed under investigation on Samuelson Avenue at 4:59 p.m.
A shoplifting incident was reported in the 600 block of Fifth Avenue at 4:04 p.m.
Nigel C Martinez, 25, and Phillip J Pearson, 23, both of Sandpoint, were cited in the 800 block of Highway 2 at 7:32 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
An officer responded to a request to stand by during a child exchange in the 200 block of First Avenue at 6:30 p.m.
An officer was unable to contact a citizen who wanted to report a battery that occurred in the 2000 block of Pine Street at 7:30 p.m.
An officer addressed a citizen’s concerns in the 300 block of Lavina Avenue at 8:06 p.m.
