Tiny Hawk, Mini Hawk sports camps offered

SANDPOINT — A pair of multi-sport camps are coming to Sandpoint for area youth.

Sandpoint Parks and Rec is partnering with Skyhawks to offer the Tiny Hawk Soccer Camp for kids ages 3–4 years-old. Camp is scheduled to take place July 5-8, from 8-8:45 a.m. each day at Travers Park. The class fee is $59.

The Tiny Hawk Soccer Camp is designed specifically for pre-school aged kids. It will introduce the essentials of soccer through games and activities, balance exploration, hand-eye coordination and skill development. Participants must be toilet trained in order to participate.

A second camp, the Mini Hawk Multi Sport Clinic is for children 4-7 years-old. The clinic will take place July 5-8 at Travers Park from 9 a.m. to noon. The class fee is $96.

The Mini Hawk Clinic will introduce young children to baseball, basketball and soccer, providing a fun first step into athletics. Through games and activities, participants will explore balance, hand-eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace.

The registration deadline is June 24, so act quickly to guarantee your spot in the class. Pre-register at Sandpoint Parks and Recreation (1123 Lake St.).
