The 2015 elected Lake Pend Oreille School District trustee for Zone 1, Joel Molander, has recently resigned. Kathleen Rose is the obvious choice. She received more votes in her contested Zone 1 loss to Molander in 2015, than did Chairman Steve Youngdahl in his contested Zone 5 win over Peter Kriz in 2013.

Rose has not only has attended as many meetings as the other present members over the past 18 months, but, has diligently researched many issues and is ready to pick up where Molander leaves off. Rose also served on the Pelham, Mass., School Board in 2012.

Iron sharpens iron and with her industrious spirit and expertise, she would be a strong asset to LPOSD. Since, there will be an appointment by LPOSD to this position, Kathy Rose is the obvious choice.
