Registration still on for summer youth tennis lessons

SANDPOINT — There is still time to register for the 2016 Sandpoint Parks and Rec youth tennis season, which offers classes for kids from 4 years-old through high school age.

Tennis for Tiny Tots (4-5 year-olds) has three sessions remaining: July 5 and 7, July 19 and 21, and July 26 and 28 from 8-8:45 a.m. at Lakeview Park.

Tennis for Hot Hitters (6-7 year-olds) has three sessions remaining: July 5-8, July 18-21 and July 25-28, from 9-10 a.m. each day at Lakeview Park.

Tennis for Beginner Youth (8-12 year-olds) has three sessions remaining: July 5-8, July 18-21 and July 25-28, from 10-11 a.m. each day at Lakeview Park.

Tennis for Intermediate Youth (8-12 year-olds) has three sessions remaining: July 5-8, July 18-21 and July 25-28, from 11 a.m. to noon each day at Lakeview Park.

Tennis Teen Skill Development (middle school and high school) has two sessions remaining: July 18-21 and July 25-28, from noon to 1 p.m. each day.

Tennis Intensive Skill Development (high school varsity players) has just one session remaining: July 5-8, from noon to 1 p.m. each day.

To sign up, stop by Sandpoint Parks and Recreation, 1123 Lake St. Partial scholarships are available on a need basis.
