Where is openness and transparency in the city government?

Back in the days before we were promised openness and transparency by the current administration, it was easy to contact City Council members and even the mayor. All had listed phone numbers and email addresses. Now one must use the individual email form for each member at the city website. I suppose members don’t want to be too bothered by their constituents.
