Sheri Lynn Willis, 53

Sheri Lynn Willis, 53, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at her home in Cocolalla, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint, Idaho, with Pastor Jeff Kuhn of Mountain Springs Church officiating. Viewing for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time.

Sheri was born on Sept. 18, 1962, in Inglewood, Calif., to Donal and Patricia Bock. She grew up and attended school in California until the eighth grade, when she moved to Bullhead City, Ariz., where she graduated from high school.

Sheri married Alan Willis on June 18, 1983, in Dana Point, Calif. They lived in Orange, Calif., and she raised their two sons. They moved to Cocolalla in 2005.

Sheri’s favorite quote was, “It’s better to give than receive.” She would like to thank hospice, Community Cancer Services, and her church for sponsoring her “Jumping for Jesus” skydiving adventure.

She is a member of Mountain Springs Church. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, pictures, arts, and crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Willis of Cocolalla; two sons, David and Daniel Willis; her parents, Pat and Don Bock of Hemet, Calif.; and a brother, Michael (Coni) Bock of Wildomar, Calif.
