Idaho Housing and Finance Association Request for Proposals 2016 Single-Family Rental Activities Idaho Housing and Finance Association is accepting proposals from Idaho non-profit affordable housing developers and units of local government with federal rental housing development and management experience, to acquire/rehabilitation or newly construct of up to four single-family rental housing units. Single-family defined as single unit, duplex, triplex, or fourplex. Proposals will be accepted through August 31, 2016. Consideration based on clear and documented market need, long-term feasibility, organizational and development capacity, funding availability, site location, cost, etc. Proposal-specific guidelines are available at http://www.idahohousing.com/ihfa/grant-programs/home-program.aspx. Proposals may be subject to negotiation prior to final consideration. The period of affordability may equal the term of the loan. Subsidy limits, market study requirements, property standards, match requirements, cross-cutting federal regulations/laws, state and local laws/ordinances/standards, HOME tenant selection and income limits, acquisition and development requirements will apply as found in the 2016 HOME Administrative Plan http://www.idahohousing.com/ihfa/grant-programs/home-program/2016-home.aspx . Applicant must be a unit of local government or an IRS-designated nonprofit registered with the State of Idaho and in Good Standing.
