Group proposed name change, not the county

Bonner County Commissioners Cary Kelly, Todd Sudick, and Glen Bailey,

I apologize for being misinformed in regards with who or which organization proposed the name change, singling out only one of our county’s veterans that has paid the ultimate price for their service and our freedoms. I now understand that the name change suggestion came from the North Idaho Chapter of the Air Force Academy.
