Sandpoint fares well at 2016 Special Olympic Games

KELLOGG — A host of Sandpoint athletes fared well during the recent 2015 Idaho Special Olympics Winter Games, held at Silver Mountain and Shoshone Park and hosted by the Silver Valley team. 

A host of Sandpoint Special Olympians earned gold and silver medals, as eight local athletes competed in a host of winter events.

In nordic skiing, Brandon Beck earn Gold medals in the 500 meter and 1K races, Lilli Campbell earned Gold in both the 50 meter and 100 meter races, Bradey Scrimsher earned Gold in both the 10 meter and 50 meter and Lee Hudson earned Silver in both the 50 meter and 100 meter men’s races.
