Norlings, Kozlowski lead Sharks at IE Championships

ASOTIN, Wash. — Caleb Norling was first in the 500 free and fifth in the 100 back, and Hannah Kozlowski finished second in the 200 fly and seventh in the 500 free to lead a strong showing by the Sandpoint Sharks at the Inland Empire Junior Swimming Championships recently in Washington.

A pair of Sharks finished high in multiple events, with Ryleigh Bamer showing versatility by finishing third in the 50 free, 25 back and 100 IM, and Hayden Norling grabbing third in both the 200 and 500 free.

“Ryleigh and Hayden were the team standouts,” said head coach Mike Brosnahan. “They made the podium multiple times.”

Other Bulldog finishers included Autumn Morgan (third in 50 breast, fourth in 50 fly), Chandler Sanborn (fifth in 200 fly), Emma Schmitt (sixth in 100 fly), Hayden Leavitt (ninth in 100 fly), Elli Warren (14th in 200 free), Lilliahna Ames (18th in 200 free) and Catelyn Harter (24th in 100 back).
