We need Keough's vibrant voice in Boise

Sen. Shawn Keough is asking you, once again, to please vote for her in the 2016 elections, allowing her to retain her position as chair of the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee. This position sets the budget for the state of Idaho, and is obtained by building seniority in the Senate. The Appropriations Committee is quite possibly one of the most powerful committees in the Idaho Legislature.

We, as voters in District 1, are extremely fortunate to have Sen. Keough representing us. She sits on the Senate Transportation Committee, where she is a senior member. Sen. Keough also sits on the Economic Outlook and Revenue Assessment Committee, where she has been appointed by the Senate leadership.

Sen. Keough is serving her tenth term as our senator and we need to return her to Boise where she can be a vibrant voice for Bonner and Boundary counties.
