Margaret Trogstad, 89, passed away March 17, 2016 in Sandpoint, Idaho.
She was born Feb. 26, 1927 in Williston, N.D., to Peter and Delima Bronder.
She was a homemaker and a seamstress in Williston, and an activities director for Valley Vista in Lewistown, Mont., before retiring in Emmett, Idaho, and Post Falls, Idaho.
She is survived by her children, Diana Boyer of Walnut Creek, Calif., Greg Trogstad of Wakeeney, Kan., Debra Lawrence of Sandpoint, Doug Trogstad of Shelton, Wash., Lon Trogstad of Kalispell, Mont., Grady Trogstad of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Blaine Trogstad of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Edward Bronder of Williston; two sisters, Isabelle Hughes of Williston, and Carol Bronder of Denver, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Carol Ann Trogstad of Bismarck, N.D.; and a brother-in-law, Roy Trogstad of Williston; as well as 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Norman Trog-stad; a brother, Richard Bronder; and two sisters, Mary Flannery and Donna Horan.
She was a member of St. George's Parish in Post Falls. She enjoyed being a member of St. George's quilters.
Margaret will be remembered by her family for the love and support she always showed them.
Her service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 21, at St. George's Church, in Post Falls, Idaho. She will be laid to rest at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Coeur d'Alene.
Memorial donations may be made to St. George's Church, Little Long Dog Rescue, or to a charity of your choosing.
