Mario Horace Ferrante Jr., 58, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016, in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Private family services have been held.
Mario was born on July 9, 1957, in Walnut Creek, Calif., to Mario and Patricia Ferrante. He grew up and attended schools in Antioch, Calif. After high school, he worked to obtain his electrician's license around the Bay Area.
Mario married Judith Perigen in Sedona, Ariz. The couple made their home in Sandpoint, where Mario operated Quality Electric.
He enjoyed the outdoors, including hiking and snowmobiling.
He is survived by his two stepdaughters, Tami (Todd) Weinert of Antioch and Tracie Kirzy of Bend, Ore.; a stepson, Bryan Albright of England; his sister, Marla (Roy) Cabral of Shady Cove, Ore.; and 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Judith Ferrante; and two brothers, Thomas and Anthony Ferrante.
