Memorial services will be held at a future date. Private burial has taken place at the Seneacquoteen Cemetery on Dufort Road.

Jeffrey was born on Nov. 2, 1960, in Berkeley, Calif., to James and Audrey Schutz. He grew up and attended grade school in Martinez, Calif. He was a bright young man who always excelled academically. He graduated from high school in Salt Lake City, and from Cali-fornia State Univer-sity in Hay-ward, Calif., with a bachelor degree in geology.

Jeffrey married Mahtab Ghajar on July 2, 2006, in Fairfield, Calif. Most of his working life he was the office manager for Lucky Clover Trading, an import firm in Benicia. Recently he had moved to North Idaho and was licensed to sell real estate. He worked for Keller Williams both in the Coeur d'Alene and Sand-point offices.

Jeffrey loved the outdoors and was an avid hiker and skier. He had a passion for cars and loved to race his Mazda RX7 on many tracks. He was a gentle and loving soul who always had a kind word and a big smile; sometimes flavored with a bit of mischief.
