Former Bulldog Nitcy wins Bee Final Four Challenge

SANDPOINT — The dust has settled after the first two rounds of the NCAA basketball tournament, as 68 teams were whittled down to just four, with the usual upsets, surprises and massive drama that go with it.
While the tournament rolls on with Syracuse, Villanova, North Carolina and Oklahoma still vying for a national title, the Bee Final Four Challenge is officially over, as Sadie Nitcy beat 57 entries to win the $75 cash prize.
The University of Idaho freshman, who played tennis for Sandpoint and whose dad John is a teacher at SHS, was the lone entry to hit on three Final Four teams — Villanova, UNC and Oklahoma. She says college basketball is probably her favorite sport to follow, and she loves when March Madness rolls around.
