Brian Matthew Geiger, 40

Brian Matthew Geiger was born in Arcadia, Calif., on July 16, 1975. He entered eternal resting on March 24, 2016, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Wash., where Brian lost his battle with interstitial lung disease.

Memorial services will be held Friday, April 1, 2016, at 3 p.m. at the Nazarene Church on Highway 95 in Ponderay, Idaho. He grew up in Sand-point, Idaho, Hemet, Calif., and graduated high school in Kilmar-nock, Va. Brian lived in Cape Coral, Fla., and was a seamless gutter contractor.

Brian loved being with his entire family and his dogs, Hope and Gracie. Brian also enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching Nascar and cooking.

Brian is survived by his mother, Donnie Hintz; his stepfather, Jim Hintz of Magnolia Texas; his father, Steve Geiger; his stepmother, Mary Geiger of Ponderay, his brothers, Steven Geiger (wife Debra Geiger) of Ponderay, and Don Geiger and Nicki Rainbow of Sandpoint; a niece, Melissa (John) King; his nephews, Bobby, Josh and Matt Geiger; and a great-nephew, Kenton. Brian also is survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.

He will be sorely missed by his friends and family. You were so loved by all. God bless our son.
