Do citizens have a say in what Bonner County is doing? Years ago we participated in developing our Comprehensive Plan and were able to meet the commissioners we elect to serve us.

Now we have lawsuits, folks getting hired and fired, and the comp plan hidden away. It is disgraceful and expensive. Several of us have tried to get public information on the number of lawsuits pending against the county and are stonewalled. Why are the commissioners getting away without public accountability?

Today I open the paper and find we have a new planning director. Really? Why no public hearing?

The choice we make matters!
