Albert Ivor Morin, 54

Albert Ivor Morin, 54, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at his home in Clark Fork, Idaho.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016, at the Roseburg National Cemetery in Roseburg, Ore.

Albert was born on Dec. 1, 1961, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Ted and Pat Morin. He remembered fondly as a youth being able to travel around Europe while his father was stationed in Germany.

He graduated from Myrtle Point High School in Myrtle Point, Ore. He later attended Eastern Oregon University and received his bachelor’s degree in business and accounting. Albert served his country in the Air Force for two years and then joined the U.S. Marines and served from 1984 to 1990.

He meet the love of his life, Sharon Upthagrove, and they married on May 7, 1994. They had three children and 22 wonderful years together.

Albert was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He enjoyed playing chess, stamp collecting and fishing. In recent years he enjoyed working his online business helping others, and making friends from all over the world.

Albert is survived by his wife, Sharon Morin; two sons, Benjamin and Samuel Morin; and a daughter, Hannah Morin, all of Clark Fork, Idaho; his twin boys (previous marriage), Aaron and Anthony Morin of Baker City, Ore.; his parents, Ted and Pat Morin of Cody, Wyo.; four sisters, Karen (Aaron) Billin of Cody, Nancy (Gil) Roman of Gilroy, Calif., Janell (David) Greene of Cameron, Texas, and Pamela (Shawn) Erickson of Sutherlin, Ore.

Albert will always be remembered as a kind, gentle and loving man who loved his family above all. Shortly before his death he reminded everyone that family and love for each other was all that mattered.
