Heather Scott and Sheriff Wheeler only focus on fear and guns. There are more issues that are vital to North Idaho.

Heather Scott does not believe in public education, health care for veterans or public lands. Sheriff Wheeler believes concealed carry by untrained citizens make us safer. They are carrying a deadly weapon in a public area, without the training or judgment to decide if or when lethal force is needed. A weapon should be a last resort not the first.

It seems to me Heather Scott , Sheriff Wheeler and their social media posse are more intent on a armed confrontation with whomever, rather than a peaceful resolution to problems. Common sense and keeping the peace should at least be a priority for the sheriff. Even in the Old West, firearms were restricted in certain areas.

It’s ironic that conservatives are against any form of gun control but are banning firearms from their national convention.

I believe Terry Ford is the best candidate for Sheriff. It’s time for a change!
