What would you think if someone in Coeur d’Alene told you that you were not behaving according to their values? Or if someone in Boise told you that it’s OK to spend $4 billion of someone else’s money because you will pay it back in taxes?

That is the bilge being directed into Bonner County by the Kootenai County-based RNIPAC (affectionately referred to as the Rhini) led by Sandy Patano and by Boise-based Bill Dentzer with the Idaho Statesman, which some have named the dragoons for Governor Otter.

Does your common sense ask why these operatives have focused on North Idaho elected officials with cleverly camouflaged misleading statistics and smear pieces? Could it be that Gov. Butch Otter really is not a Republican but merely another professional politician living off citizens’ taxes and increasing dependency on government?
