Democrat candidates for Legislative District 1, House Seat B, are miles apart. Longtime Democrat and write-in candidate, Stephen F. Howlett is taking-on a confused opponent.

Stephen F. Howlett believes in state-funded public schools. His opponent: privatize all schools. Stephen F. Howlett supports a $15 minimum wage, helping reduce the “medi-gap” by putting more money into worker’s pockets, making unaffordable insurance affordable. His opponent: no state-funded medical care and … the “market” will get to $15-an-hour when it’s ready! Wow!

Stephen F. Howlett: a local Democrat for, like 14 years. His opponent: like, 14 days. Democrats, to put a true Democrat in Boise you must vote in the Democrat primary May 17. Find the “write in” space for the appropriate race, check the box, and write-in “Stephen F. Howlett.” Remember to check the box!

If you don’t elect Stephen F. Howlett in the primary, hope for a true Democrat is squandered.
