I’ve never written a letter about anything, especially politics. Recently there was a letter that wasn’t very complimentary about Shawn Keough. I felt someone who knew the reason needed to speak out.

Shawn works tirelessly with both sides of the aisle. This is why projects that have been on hold for years are being funded and built. The Dover Bridge, Clark Fork Bridge, the Sand Creek Byway and more. Her opponent won’t get the positions she holds and, once again, the money will go south.

Too many times people get upset because they want something but on their terms. The highway through Ponderay for example: It took a long time and some businesses had to close. This wasn’t Shawn’s fault.

As the letter I’m responding to said: “Pay attention to your candidates and what they have done and stand for. Please pay attention to what Shawn’s done and re-elect her!!
