Sandpoint senior Paige DuMars and the Bulldog track and field team will be vying for state berths today, when the 5A/4A Region 1 track meet gets underway at 2 p.m. at Coeur d’Alene High School. Action will continue on day two Saturday, when the meet moves down to Lewiston. Both the Bulldog boys and girls should be right in the mix to claim district championships, and will look to qualify as many athletes to state as possible. —Photo by ERIC PLUMMER
