RR crossing work to close roads

BONNERS FERRY — Union Pacific Railroad will be working on the crossing on Sandy Ridge Road. The crossing will be closed from 7 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, through 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016.

There will be a temporary crossing installed for the evening of Tuesday, May 17. This temporary crossing will be in place at approximately 6 p.m. and will be removed again at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18.

Drivers are reminder to use caution.

Officials said there will be a railroad track authority person present to safely help residents who need to walk across the work area during construction.

The railroad also will be working on the crossing on District 2 Road. The crossing will be completely closed from 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, through 6 p.m., Wednesday, May 18. Traffic will need to use Blume

Hill Road as a detour route to access District 2 Road east of the crossing or to access Ball Park Road.
