1: I still possess the desire to address the issues of jobs/economy, taxes, government regulation, private property rights, state sovereignty, gun rights, religious freedom, and traditional family values.

I believe that with my Senate experience and voting record, I can make the difference with “less government, more opportunity”.

2: Perseverance following my principles, the ability to ignore the liberal media, communicate with my constituents, my desire to serve and lead my people out of a sense of duty, and a balanced life are definitely assets that are desperately needed.

3. The most important issues are state sovereignty with government overreach against private property rights, gun rights, right to life, and religious freedom. The federal government has caused us to lose our rights in our state and we must stand up for them.

4. My plan is to support measures which im- prove state sovereignty, private property rights, gun rights, rights to life and religious freedom. Also amend the Idaho Con-stitu-tion to allow the legislature to reconvene in a special session to consider bills vetoed by the Governor following the adjournment of the regular session.

5. If elected, I would hope to create a legacy of strong state government with less federal overreach, full constitutional carry, protected property rights, freedom of conscience, life protected from conception to natural death, and schools founded upon our Christian principles.

6. Three current issues that I would like to see fixed are:

1. Maintain state sovereignty to reduce overreach.

2. Improve education to allow local control.

3. Reduce taxes and fees.

7. 1. Support transfer of federal lands to the state ownership so that we can pay for our schools, road infrastructure, and create jobs.

2. Provide school choice and eliminate Common Core by letting Idaho educators create our own state standards and tests.

3. Support the elimination of sales tax on groceries.

8. My work day in session is busy from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Out of session, my work pertains to attending designated meetings and helping constituents.

9. I look forward to working on the issues that I have already outlined.

10. What has allowed America to achieve things no other nation has done is called “American exceptionalism” as coined by de Toqueville in 1831. He observed that the essential condition for preserving the nation was the preservation of its fundamental moral conscience due to the Bill of Rights, which I intend to preserve.

11. Unless there is ethics in politics and business, the fiscal issues will not matter.

12. Don’t know.

13. Ronald Reagan once said, “All great change in America begins at the dinner table.”

Hope is enkindled when little changes make a big difference. Little pockets of virtuous, moral, religious and courageous people is what made our nation and is how we will now preserve it in rural District 7!

14. Question: Would you repeal the state health insurance exchange?

Answer: Yes.
