Mrs. Idaho America Pageant seeks representatives

The Mrs. Idaho America Pageant is now searching for representatives from across the state to compete at the 2017 Mrs Idaho America pageant. The pageant will be held Oct. 29 at Capital High School Auditorium in Boise.

The reigning Mrs Idaho America 2016 is Christi van Ravenhorst of McCall. Christi and her husband Ross have been married for 4 ½ years. In 2014 they moved to McCall where she is now a stay-at-home mom after spending years as a licensed financial investment banker. They are the proud parents of Emily, a savvy and smart little 3-year-old. Christi and Emily spend their days enjoying the beautiful parks and beaches surrounding the lake and participating in learning activities through Roots Early Learning, an organization Christi co-founded. Christi is also the newest member of McCall’s Community Theater acting troupe and performed in McCall’s summer play Under Milkwood by Dylan Thomas. Christi, Ross and Emily enjoy the small town warmth that embraces them while camping, boating, hiking and ice fishing all within a 30 minute drive from home. The Mrs. Idaho America Competition is an exciting and rewarding program that recognizes Idaho’s married women and is the official state preliminary to the prestigious Mrs. America Pageant. Mrs. Idaho America will join 50 other state winners for the Mrs. America Pageant in August 2017.
