SASi launches double raffle

SANDPOINT — Sandpoint Area Seniors, Inc. has launched a double raffle for a local “Staycation” opportunity. Or the winner can provide housing for out-of-town guests.

Pend Oreille Shores Resort and Holiday Inn Express in Ponderay have donated lodging for a raffle to benefit area seniors. Pend Oreille Shores has donated a seven-night stay. Tickets on now on sale for $5 each or five for $20. Holiday Inn has donated a one-night stay. Tickets are on sale for $1 each or six for $5.

The drawing for the raffle will be at the barbecue fundraiser hosted by the Injectors Car Club on Saturday, June 18, at 1 p.m. at the Sandpoint Senior Center, 820 Main St. The community is invited to celebrate Father’s Day weekend with a burger (from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.) and get in on the chance to win the nights out on the town.
