Bill Woolsey, 85
Bill passed away peacefully at home on May 17, 2016. He was 85 years old.
He leaves behind his wife, Barbara. They were married for 62 years.
He was the beloved father of Cheryl, Bob and Linda. He was the proud grandpa of Jeffrey Joseph Geenen. He was great-grandpa to Quinn Geenen.
Bill was born in Helena, Mont., in 1930 to Agnes and William Delbert Woolsey. His family moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, when he was a young boy. He had five sisters.
After raising his own family in Sand-point, he and Barbara moved to Montana.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Cheryl, Bob and Linda; a grandson, JJ; a great-granddaughter, Quinn: his sisters Jackie Colburn, Alice Coldsnow (Bill) and Barbara Chester; a brother-in-law, Randy Prohl; a sister-in-law, Virginia Groves; a cousin, Terry John Slette (Mary Kay); a brother-in-law, Pete Petersen; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews; and great-grandnieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two of his sisters, Mary Lubbers and Jean Petersen; his sister-in-law, Sue Prohl; his brothers-in-law, James Groves and Ed Chester; and his son-in-law, Mike Geenen.
Even though he is gone from this earth, he lives on in our hearts. He and his brother-in-law Jimmy are probably busy planning the best fishing trip ever! Sister-in-law Sue will have to drive the boat and watch the lines because they will be too busy drinking coffee and telling stories.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial ceremony and interment will take place in Sandpoint at a later date.
Arrangements are by Cremation & Funeral Gallery. Condolences can be sent through www.cfgbillings.com through “Our Families.”
