NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF IDAHO HEALTH FACILITIES AUTHORITY Please take notice that Shelley Shannon, Executive Director of the Idaho Health Facilities Authority, an independent public body politic and corporate under Idaho law (the "Authority"), or her designee, will hold a public hearing with respect to the proposed issuance by the Authority of its Idaho Health Facilities Authority Refunding Bond (Bonner General Hospital Project), Series 2016A (the "2016A Bond") and its Idaho Health Facilities Authority Revenue Bond (Bonner General Hospital Project), Series 2016B (the "2016B Bond") (the 2016A Bond, together with the 2016B Bond, the "Bonds") in the aggregate principal amount not to exceed $11,886,000. Bonner General Hospital, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation duly incorporated and validly existing under the laws of the State of Idaho, doing business as Bonner General Health, (the "Hospital"). The proceeds of sale of the Bonds will be loaned to the Hospital and will be used to (A) refinance a portion of the Idaho Health Facilities Authority Promissory Note, Series 2006 (Bonner General Hospital Project) in the original principal amount of $13,500,000, dated March 1, 2006 (the "Series 2006 Note"), the proceeds of which Series 2006 Note were used to finance (i) the costs of refunding approximately $8,675,000 outstanding principal amount of the Authority's Promissory Note dated August 31, 2000, issued to U.S. Bank National Association to finance certain healthcare facilities of the Hospital, (ii) the cost of refinancing certain healthcare equipment loans and healthcare equipment capital lease-purchase agreements of the Hospital, (iii) the costs of acquisition and/or construction of healthcare facilities and related equipment for the Hospital, (iv) the cost of funding a debt service reserve fund to secure the Series 2006 Note, and (v) the costs incurred in connection with the issuance of the Series 2006 Note; (B) refinance the outstanding balance of a loan with Panhandle State Bank in the original principal amount of $692,048.43 (the "Panhandle Loan") the proceeds of which were used to refinance a loan with U.S. Bank National Association (the "U.S. Bank Loan") which proceeds were used to purchase the property adjacent to the Hospital which provides hospice services, located at 605 North Third Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho 83864; and (C) finance the renovation, remodel, and expansion of the Hospital's emergency room, including upgrade of facilities, equipment, and technology, and relocation of departments to accommodate renovation and expansion, all of which shall not exceed an aggregate principal amount of $11,886,000, inclusive of certain costs of issuance (collectively, the "Project").
