Violet Pamela Bortz was born May 25, 2016, at 7:45 a.m. at Bonner General Health in Sandpoint.

The daughter of Kiera (Auletta) and Scott Bortz of Sandpoint, she weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces at birth.

Joining the new baby’s arrival are grandparents Pam and Rick Auletta of Hope and Chuck and Charla Bortz of Sarasota, Fla.; and great-grandmother Pam Auletta.
