Our choice of candidates is very clear — growing freedom or growing government.

I urge the 65 percent who came out to vote against doubling your school tax in August, to turn out again and show your support for those who stand for your freedom: Heather Scott, Sage Dixon, Dan McDonald, and Daryl Wheeler.

These leaders understand they work for us, not the other way around. They know the federal government has evolved into a creature that wants to control every aspect of our lives. In doing so, they have become targets of the radical left as well as the entrenched Republican establishment.

Unfortunately the tactics and shenanigans orchestrated on the presidential stage have made their way to Bonner County. Unfounded accusations have been reported as facts, while public harassment of fellow conservatives is whitewashed with empty apologies. Sign theft and vandalism have been commonplace and repetitive.

The Daily Bee published a letter explaining their policy to limit letters to the editor to 250 words, immediately following a 929-word letter flogging Scott. Yet, Publisher Jim McKiernan claims the paper has no bias.

Complete the extreme desperation with a fear mongering postcard, backed with Soros funds via a Boise PAC, just another vehicle to push lies and manipulate your emotions. Don’t be distracted.

We have a duty to stand behind these courageous people fighting against the growth of tyranny. Choose leadership, responsibility, and liberty, for you and your children. Vote Scott, Dixon, McDonald, and Wheeler.
