Probably one of the most demanding government positions in our county is that of a county commissioner. Doing that job right means quite often putting in way more than 40 hours per week. It requires someone who follows through on the issues with commitment and tenacity; someone who believes that being in touch with constituents is essential, and that getting input from a variety of sources before making a decision is a no-brainer.

We’re fortunate to have Dan McDonald on the ballot as that person for District 3 commissioner. He’s known for all of those beliefs and characteristics, and I know I speak for many when I say that he has our trust.

Go, Dan, on Nov. 8.
