In this campaign season we’re exposed daily to a lot of self-serving comments by politicians and their challengers. That’s why it’s refreshing to see the opposite from our state representative, Heather Scott, who remains humble and focused only on working for the people.

She is running for her second term in the Idaho Legislature, and her character and style is as honest and forthcoming as it was two years ago when she was a newcomer to the political scene and won by a landslide.

It’s easy to see why — what you see is what you get. And what you get is someone not interested in self-promotion but who works every single day to empower citizens by educating them on how to wield their power in our republican form of government, and showing them by her actions.

We appreciate having Heather Scott as our representative and want her to continue her good work.
