Candidates' forum being held tonight

SANDPOINT — A candidates’ forum for all local races is tonight, Nov. 2, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Sandpoint High School auditorium.

Candidates for all Bonner County and District 1 and 7 legislative races have been invited; uncontested candidates will have a chance to address the audience, while the candidates in contested races will stay on the stage to answer questions submitted from the audience. The forum is free and all are invited.

For those who can’t make it in person, the forum will also be videocast live on SandpointOnline.com; the live stream will start at 5:25 p.m. There will be a chat feature to allow online viewers to comment or submit questions.

Additionally, the forum will be broadcast live on Panhandle Community Radio, KRFY 88.5 FM.

The forum is presented by Sandpoint Online and Sandpoint Reader. The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
