Olive Enid Nelson, 83

Olive Enid Nelson, a devoted wife and mother passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Sunday, Oct. 30 at the age of 83.

The world lost a beautiful and amazing lady today who will be missed both family and friends.

She was born April 8, 1933, in Tillton, New Hampshire, to Robert and Edra Mayo.

Olive is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert James Nelson; both parents; a brother, Alan; and her sisters, Joan and Ruby.

Olive is survived by sons, Robert James Nelson Jr. (Kantima), and Joseph Mayo Nelson (Robin); a daughter, Marie Anne Nelson-Toland (Dwayne); her granddaughters, Cameo, Candice, Katie and Elisa; and her grandsons, Joey and Andrew; three great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons; plus numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be holding a private service at their parents’ cabin in the spring of 2017.
