Adult and youth open gym hoops on tap Sundays

SANDPOINT — If you love basketball and are looking for some good run this winter, don’t miss the adult and youth Open Gyms every Sunday at Sandpoint High School, starting on Nov. 13.

Sandpoint Parks and Recreation has partnered with the Lake Pend Oreille School District to once again offer free open gym time for all youth in grades 3rd-12th, from 3-4:30 p.m. every Sunday from Nov. 13 through March 12. Although a gym monitor will be present, this is not a supervised activity, and play is usually broken into two age groups.

The adult open gym will follow from 4:30-6 p.m. each night, with a cost of $2 per player, payable at the door to the gym coordinator.

Come get your winter hoops on, and enjoy some fun basketball.
