Give me enough time and I’ll come up with a solution. As some of you reading this know, I have been a volunteer member of a group nearly 33,000 strong. This organization assists a government agency. This morning it hit me!

We have a vast, untapped resource on hand. Each time there is a police shooting, or riot or anything involving the ultimate death of a black citizen. It all could have been averted by dispatching the volunteer group to the scene. That’s right, station a number of the Black Lives Matter volunteers at each police station and dispatch them to the calls of; man with a gun, armed robbery, burglary in progress, etc.

Perhaps they can operate under the umbrella of the Attorney General’s Office and enjoy the same protection that law enforcement officers do. There may still be a large number of black citizen’s deaths. Black Lives Matter will be honoring their slain members but the police involved shootings statistics will go down. That’s our goal and a solution is at hand if the government will act.
