NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016, in the 1st Floor Conference Room of the Bonner County Administration Building, 1500 Highway 2, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following request: File AM148-16 - BCRC Title 12 - Text Amendment - Procedures - Bonner County is proposing to amend Chapter 2, Title 12, Bonner County Revised Code (Procedures) to amend sections 212, 213, 234, 236, 237, 262, and 264. Some of these amendments are housekeeping in nature: add Planning Director to list of those who can initiate zone changes or amendments; clarify hearing examiner where appropriate; update variance standards to comply closer with State Code; allow conditions where applicable to ensure compliance; limit ability to reapply for same property or application; and, update administrative exceptions. STATE TIMBER SALE CR200342, JUICYFRUIT A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 2550 Highway 2 W., Sandpoint, ID 83864, at 9:00 a.m. local time, on Thursday, November 17, 2016 for an estimated 1,615 MBF of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. Prior to bidding, eligible bidders shall present a certified check or bank draft payable to Treasurer, State of Idaho, or a bid bond acceptable to the State, in the amount of $49,178.40 which is 10% of the appraised net sale value of $491,784.00. The successful bidder's deposit will be forfeited to the State should the bidder fail to complete the contract.
