First Lutheran Church hosts Advent suppers, meditation

There’s plenty going on at First Lutheran Church these days.

n Chapel service — 8:15 a.m., Sunday mornings. The community is invited to join the congregation at First Lutheran for early morning service in its chapel that will “bless your socks off” if you decided to attend. The service is led by Pastor Lori Morton assisted by Pastor Steve Neuder. If you like piano music you will not be disappointed by church accompanist, Bud. What a blessing.

n Advent is coming — to celebrate Advent at First Lutheran, the congregation will hold their traditional “Advent soup suppers and meditation” on Wednesday evenings. This year, the events will be held Nov. 30, and Dec. 7, 14 and 21. Soup and breads will be provided. Join them if you are able

n Christmas luncheon —On Friday, Dec. 2, the women of the First Lutheran Church, Olive and Ontario, church will hold a Christmas Pot Luck luncheon at noon. Beverages and dessert will be provided.
