—Courtesy photo The Kootenai Thunder ended their volleyball season in style, downing top seed Oaks twice in a row after beating North Idaho Christian to reach the finals. The Thunder won 25-27, 25-22, 25-22 and 25-23 in the championship, and after having lost to Oaks earlier in the double elimination tournament, forced one more game. Facing Oaks for the third time in the tourney, the Thunder bounced back from a slow start to win 9-25, 27-25, 15-7 to claim the season-ending MCL title.
