Hearing on the news about the demonstrations being held after our recent presidential election I keep thinking, “What’s the matter with these people? Haven’t they heard of a democracy where the person with the most votes wins?” Frankly, they remind me of a small child having a temper tantrum when they don’t get their way. The small child throws him or her self on the floor and screams and yells and sometimes hold their breath in order to scare the adult present. The older child yells and screams , organizes protest marches and threatens to leave the country if they don’t get their way.

Hillary and Bill Clinton and President Obama were certainly more gracious about the election. This is our country whether things don’t go exactly as we wanted, have a surprising ending or go as we had hoped. As an old song goes “Let’s Get Together” and keep keep this country as our great America.
