Meetings set on sub-area plans

SANDPOINT — The Bonner County Planning and Zoning Department will conduct public meetings next week to discuss the creation of sub-area comprehensive plans for the Selle–Samuels and Sagle areas.

A meeting for the Selle-Samuels area will be held Monday, Nov. 28, at Northside Elementary. A meeting for the Sagle area will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Sagle Elementary. Both meetings start at 6 p.m.

The plans will identify areas appropriate for growth in the county showing possible residential, commercial and industrial potential. These plans will include a visioning and mapping process to incorporate growth over the next 20 years.

County offficial said the community’s ideas and input are essential to the process.
