Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Grant Activities Bonner County is submitting a proposal to the Idaho Department of Commerce for an Idaho Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG) in the amount of $500,000. Bonner County is considering applying for an Idaho Community Development Block Grant to fund public infrastructure at the Sandpoint airport to support the expansion of Quest Aircraft. These funds would be utilized to improve safety by installing wildlife fencing to secure the airport grounds and protect business investment. The hearing will include a discussion of the application, scope of work, budget, schedule, benefits of the project, how ICDBG funds will create new full time equivalent jobs, and location of the proposed project. The application, related documents, and ICDBG Application Handbook will be available for review. The hearing has been scheduled for December 06, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Bonner County at 1500 Highway 2 Sandpoint, ID 83864. Verbal and written comments will be accepted prior to and at the hearing. The hearing will be held in a facility that is accessible to persons with disabilities.
