I’m beginning to notice political commentary on the benefits of vocational programs in our education system. Our local car club, the Injectors, promoted what I believe is the first and only car show event promoting exactly what others are talking about. Last September, a portion of the Injectors Car Club car show was dedicated to industrial arts. It was designated as “Education Alley.” The Injectors Board of Directors has already approved doing this again for their next car show. “Street Scene”, a national hot rodder’s magazine has shown interest in doing an article on this event.

I want to personally thank the Injectors, our local Home Depot, Spartan Arc and Panel, and the Busy Beaver for their “action” to promote vocations and careers in the industrial arts. And there are now others already showing interest in joining this next educational promotion.
