United we stand and divided we will fall

We have just gone through an election process never seen before in the history of our republic. As I watched the election process, I did not lose sight of God and the fact that He declares that every soul be subject to the governing authorities, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore, whoever resists the authority, resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

So we watched as people rioted in the streets, setting fires and destroying our moral fabric. Many Americans don’t believe in God and so they do what is right in their own mind. They follow the desires of their hearts, which are self-motivated and out of the abundance of the heart, their mouths speak.

Brothers and sisters, why do we watch and do nothing? The time is now, that men and women of faith rise up and speak truth to the lost and unbelieving. We need to remind each other that this nation was founded as a nation under God and indivisible. We serve a God of love, all powerful and mighty, full of mercy and compassion and yet, many Americans have lost fear of their creator. They are living for the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.

So, what can we do about it? We must pray, that God would grant them repentance. We can love them and speak the truth of God’s word to them through the power of His Spirit. We can live obediently to the faith which we have been called and be ambassadors for God, as lights shining on a hill. We, of faith, have a Savior who died for all who would believe, unlike other faiths that teach killing those who do not believe.

The time is now to live for our God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ and live under His authority. Love others, and give of yourself, understanding that all men and women are living under the authority of God. Let us not judge, life up others more than yourselves, and let the light of Jesus Christ shine into the darkness.

Pray for the United States of America. United we stand, and divided we fall.
